Scandal în tabăra de vară din Novosibirsk: condiții precare pentru copii inclusiv veterani ai războiului d in Ucraina

Лагерь для детей «героев СВО» под Новосибирском закрыли через несколько дней после начала работы из-за антисанитарии

Recent news from the Novosibirsk region reveals a scandal surrounding the placement of nearly 150 minors, including children of participants in the war in Ukraine, at a camp characterized by dilapidated buildings and pest problems. Following the prosecutor’s demands for suspension of the facility’s operations, children who had checked in just a few days earlier were urgently evacuated, as reported by "RIA Tomsk". The camp in question is "Summer" located in the village of Zavyalovo. The director, Victoria Litvinova, highlighted the dire state of the facility on social media, stating that garbage had accumulated and was not being cleared, the buildings were cold, supervision of the children was insufficient, and some staff had fled, leaving only administrative security on paper. Additionally, she reported rodent infestations, even sharing a video of a deceased rat found on the premises. Parents began to withdraw their children from "Summer" on August 19, just days into the camp session.

On August 21, the Novosibirsk prosecutor’s office confirmed significant violations related to the organization of minors’ recreation, identifying threats to the life and health of 148 children, and ordered the suspension of the camp’s operations. According to the Department for family and children’s affairs in the Tomsk region, 122 children were evacuated from "Summer" on the night of August 23. The purchase of vacations for children in challenging life situations, including those of participants in the "special military operation" and combat veterans, was financed by the regional budget, with a government contract being signed for over 4 million rubles with entrepreneur Anastasia Mudritskaya, who manages another camp in the area.

The facility itself had been opened based on an old Orthodox camp, whose buildings had been unused for a long time, and was subsequently leased to entrepreneur Anastasia Mudritskaya, as noted by the channel "Govorits NeMoskva".
